It is so convenient and we love the Kimpton Boutique Hotels. This is the second time we have stayed at one if them. They are wonderful. Didn't have a very good experience with their restaurant. I got Terrible food poisoning. However, I would still go back to the hotel. ...read more

I really like the way the hotel is designed. It doesn't feel like the run of the mill hotels, where everything seems to be the same.

For a first-time visitor to Chicago, the Monaco was the perfect place. It was a great location with a classy/unique interior design which made for a romantic get-a-way. Family with Teens
Hotel was very attractive. Desk staff was very helpful in getting dinner reservations, giving directions and answering questions. The window seats with cushions was a very nice feature.

Traveling as Couple
The rooms are spacious. After a day of sight seeing (walking), I looked forward for the wine hour and relax in the lobby sipping wine on the house. The WIFI connection was free and excellent.
